Sigma Software sells stake in Kharkiv-based IdeaSoft to a non-profit organization from Abu Dhabi

Swedish-Ukrainian IT company Sigma Software Group has exited the capital of Kharkiv-based IdeaSoft, a company specializing in blockchain and fintech

The transaction was completed four years after the acquisition of the stake and involved the sale of 51% of the business, which Sigma Software Group had owned since 2021. According to YouControl data, IdeaSoft’s beneficiary changed in mid-December 2025. The Swedish entrepreneur Dan Olofsson, owner of Sigma Software Group, was replaced by Kharkiv-based lawyer Denys Shmatkov. During the same period, the company was renamed Paral Soft. Sigma Software Group CEO Valerii Kravskyi confirmed the sale of the stake and said that the finalization of legal details is currently underway.

The buyer was ADI Foundation, a non-profit organization from the United Arab Emirates. Sigma Software Group first reported the deal back in September 2025, although the announcement attracted little media attention at the time. ADI Foundation is indirectly part of the IHC holding, whose largest investor is Royal Group, an investment group owned by the ruling dynasty of Abu Dhabi.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. According to Kravskyi, the exit was completed on favorable terms with a high multiple by global standards. Analysts surveyed by Forbes refrained from estimating IdeaSoft’s valuation, citing the challenging conditions in the global software development market and the lack of universal valuation approaches for such assets in 2024–2025.

IdeaSoft operates in the Web3 and blockchain development space and has worked with clients and projects such as French bank Crédit Agricole, the crypto project WorldCoin, and the real-world asset tokenization platform Securitize. The company has offices in Estonia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, the United States, and Dubai, and employs more than 250 specialists.

Sigma Software Group acquired a controlling stake in IdeaSoft in 2021. During their partnership, the companies launched a number of joint projects, including the startup Global Ledger, which develops solutions for tracking suspicious virtual asset transactions and raised $3.5 million in investment in 2021. In 2022, Sigma Software Group and IdeaSoft also jointly acquired game and AR/VR developer PULS Software, later renamed Eventyr. In 2025, IdeaSoft exited the group of founders, while Eventyr remains part of Sigma Software Group.

The founders of IdeaSoft, who retained ownership stakes and management roles after the 2021 deal, gradually transitioned to roles within the new owner’s structure. In August 2025, IdeaSoft co-founder Andrii Lazorenko became CEO of ADI Foundation, while Herman Stohniiev took the position of CTO. As of January 2026, according to YouControl, 100% of the company is registered to the new beneficiary.

ADI Foundation is developing its own blockchain project, ADI Chain, and requires a strong engineering team. Market participants note that Ukrainian developers account for a significant share of leading teams in the Web3 sector. The new owner plans to develop IdeaSoft as an internal blockchain innovation hub and a technical provider for government, municipal, and corporate digital transformation projects.

Sigma Software Group, which ranks 13th among the largest IT companies in Ukraine according to DOU, says it intends to continue cooperation with IdeaSoft after the transaction closes and to pursue joint initiatives within its ecosystem.
