Cast AI, a company backed at an early stage by venture capital firm TA Ventures, has raised $108m in a new investment round, reaching a valuation of over $1bn. The funds will be used to further develop the company’s AI platform for cloud infrastructure optimization and to scale its global presence.
Cast AI operates in the field of AI-driven optimization of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, helping companies worldwide significantly reduce computing costs without sacrificing performance. As cloud service expenses continue to rise, Cast AI’s solutions are becoming critical for businesses that are scaling.
Cast AI is the 17th unicorn in the TA Ventures portfolio. The fund invested in the company at an early stage, recognizing in its team and technology a response to a fundamental market demand — efficiency and cost control within complex technological infrastructures.
We invested in Cast AI at an early stage because we saw not just a strong technology, but a deep understanding of a systemic problem faced by global businesses. In times of turbulence, companies are not looking for flashy experiments, but for solutions that genuinely save resources and improve efficiency. Cast AI is exactly such a case. This round is a logical stage in the company’s growth and confirms that our bet on infrastructure AI solutions was strategically right, said Victoria Tigipko, Founder and Managing Partner of TA Ventures.
The new funding round for Cast AI underscores the relevance of TA Ventures’ focus on AI infrastructure, cloud technologies, and scalable B2B solutions that form the foundation of the next technological cycle.
