Oversized transport company TAD plans to invest €20 million in 2025 to expand its fleet dedicated to transporting wind turbines in Ukraine. The announcement was made by the company’s founder and CEO, Vitalii Melnyk, at the Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum 2025 in Lviv.
According to Melnyk, demand for wind turbine logistics has grown significantly in Ukraine, particularly over the past one to two years.
“I believe in Ukraine’s wind energy potential. We are seeing a strong increase in requests for turbine transport, and we are scaling up. Next year, we plan to invest €20 million in a fleet specifically designed for transporting large turbines,” he stated.
He added that some wind projects were frozen at the start of the war due to foreign partners suspending turbine deliveries and installation in Ukraine amid wartime risks. As a result, domestic capacity for such services has been actively developing.
