Ukrainian company TAD enters the US market with its own brand

Ukrainian company TAD has started supplying oversized trucks and trailers to the United States and plans to promote its own brand in this market

TAD (Trans-Avto-D), a company from Khmelnytskyi region specializing in oversized cargo transportation, has officially announced its entry into the US market. The announcement was made by the company’s owner, Vitalii Melnyk.

According to him, the first five trucks have already arrived — iconic Peterbilt models, including four-axle and three-axle tractors in full configuration designed for transporting oversized loads. The first deliveries of RGN trailers and step-deck extendable trailers are expected next week. All equipment is new and supplied directly from the manufacturers’ plants.

Initially, the trailers were sourced in the United States; however, in subsequent batches TAD plans to promote its own brand in the US market. “The first trailer produced in collaboration with an American company is already being manufactured at our plant. The first export shipment will take place shortly,” Melnyk said on Facebook.

In 2025, the company invested $8 million in expanding production at its plant in Volochysk, which made it possible to increase capacity and prepare for exporting equipment abroad.

Entering the US market will allow TAD to strengthen its international presence and offer American customers both imported trucks and trailers as well as equipment under its own brand.
