TAS Agro to Acquire Kernel Elevator with 62.4 kt Storage Capacity in Cherkasy Region

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted TAS Agro permission to acquire control over the assets of Kononivskyi Elevator LLC, owned by the Kernel Group

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has approved TAS Agro’s acquisition of control over the assets of Kononivskyi Elevator LLC, which belongs to the Kernel Group. The regulator adopted the corresponding decision on January 22, 2026.

According to the AMCU, the approval was granted to KINTAS LIMITED (Nicosia, Cyprus), which is the founder and ultimate beneficiary of TAS Agro. The transaction concerns the acquisition of assets in the form of a single integrated property complex.

In a comment to Latifundist.com, TAS Agro clarified that the deal does not involve the purchase of the legal entity Kononivskyi Elevator LLC. Instead, the company will acquire the elevator’s real estate assets from the Kernel agribusiness group. The facility is located in the village of Budyshche, Lysianka district, Cherkasy region. The elevator has a grain storage capacity of approximately 62.4 thousand tonnes. It is equipped with grain dryers, cleaning equipment, and grain handling and transportation systems. The facility also features an automatic sampling system and weighing equipment for quality control. Grain intake is carried out by road transport, with rail shipment also available.

Previously, TAS Agro CEO Oleh Zapletniuk noted that the company’s strategy focuses not so much on expanding total elevator capacity as on upgrading it—replacing outdated facilities with modern or shuttle elevators in the regions where the agroholding operates.
