Flawless App, a Ukrainian service which allows “a real-time comparison of expected and implemented design of a mobile app” with the help of iOS simulator, has attracted an investment from Ukrainian entrepreneur Oleksandr Kosovan.
The news was announced by the startup’s co-founder Ahmad Sulaiman on Monday.
Kosovan is the CEO of MacPaw, a Kyiv (Kiev)-based Mac software development company operating globally, and co-founder of local investment fund SMRK. This is the first angel investment for both him and the startup.
Although the amount of the deal remains undisclosed, the company says it equals an average business angel injection by the US standards.
The funding will be used to launch a new version of the app. This version will allow automatic identification of visual differences between a desired and real design of a mobile app with the help of machine learning and visual optimization of the primary design.
The company claims its solution saves a team of a developer, designer, tester and a project manager over 30 hours per month.
Flawless App was founded by Ahmad Sulaiman and Lisa Dziuba in Kyiv (Kiev) in 2015. Among its clients are developers from Microsoft, MacPaw, Uber, Basecamp, Disney, eBay, Nike, Qiwi and Spotify.
