The head of Concorde Capital, together with partners, bought a license for gas extraction in Lviv region

Igor Mazepa together with Ivan Oliynyk and Oleg Vedmid in shares of 40/30/30 became the owners of Navigator Mainitskoe LLC through Sela Energy LLC (both - Kyiv)

At the end of January 2021, Investment group Concorde Capital announced the acquisition, together with partners, of a license for gas extraction on a 79 km2 in Lviv region. The new owners are planning further development of the field and gas extraction.

The group clarified that C1 gas reserves (explored, studied in detail, sufficient to obtain the initial data for drawing up a technological scheme for the development of the field) amount to 748 million m3, C2 (preliminary estimated: the shape and size of the reservoir, the conditions of occurrence, the thickness and reservoir properties of the reservoirs, the composition and properties of oil, gas and condensate were determined in general terms based on the results of geological and geophysical studies) - 12.1 billion m3.

Navigator Mainitskoe LLC has a permit until 2036 for geological exploration, including the pilot development of the Mainitskaya hydrocarbon area (16 km east of Sambor) with an area of ​​79 km2 followed by oil and gas production. The permit was originally issued in 2016 to Navigator Komplekt LLC.

Igor Mazepa said that Sela Energy XXI was created as a service company together with the best specialists who previously worked in the subsidiary company of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”. According to Mr Mazepa, these specialists have extensive experience in the application of hydraulic fracturing technology and production intensification.
