The owner of Silpo acquires the assets of Furshet

The AMCU approves request from Fozzy Group to acquire control over assets of the retailer group Furshet

 According to today's agenda of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Silpo-Food LLC requested permission to directly obtain control over assets - real estate, equipment and commodity balances, which together ensure the retail trade of mainly consumer goods of daily demand and are owned by the Furshet group on the right ownership and right of use.

Today, the Furshet network has 25 stores in various regions of the country, including 11 in Kyiv. The sole shareholder of the company is "Anthousa Limited" PJSC (Great Britain) with an authorized capital of UAH 2 million, the Supervisory Board of which is headed by Igor Balenko.

In January 2021, the Commercial Court of the Dnipropetrovsk Region opened proceedings on the bankruptcy case of the Retail Center subsidiary, which owns the Furshet supermarket chain.

SE "Retail Center" was established in 2013. Its participant, according to the Unified State Register, is Retail Trend LLC, the beneficiary is Daniil Danilov.

The owner of LLC "Silpo-Food" through the venture corporate investment fund "Retail Capital", PJSC "Fozzy Retail" and LLC "Fozzy Group" is Vladimir Kostelman, who owns 51% of the LLC. Oleg Sotnikov and Roman Chigir own 23.235% of LLC Silpo-Food, and Yuriy Gnatenko is the owner of 2.53% of the company.

Fozzy Group develops retail chains of various formats: Silpo supermarkets, Fozzy Cash & Carry wholesale hypermarkets, Fora convenience stores, Thrash! discounters, Bila Romashka pharmaceutical supermarkets, Ringoo personal electronics stores.
