Ukraine has to pay up to USD 11bn on foreign debts until 2019

The amount doesn’t include borrowings of private companies

In general, state of Ukraine has to pay up to USD 11bn until 2019, told Dmitriy Sologub the deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). There are plenty of estimations about volumes of the debts depending upon what to include in the sum up amount. The amount of USD 11bn is derived considering the MinFin foreign obligations, the debts of NBU against IMF facilities, the payments due upon Eurobonds and foreign debts of the Ukrainian state owned enterprises. Thus, the payments due 2019 are not that enormous taking into consideration the remainder of the IMF program for Ukraine worth USD 10bn. The risks for 2019-2020 are also not very considerable, if to consider possibilities of foreign capital markets and collaboration programs with the WB, the EBRD and the EU, believes Dmitriy Sologub the head of the currency board.
