Close cooperation and coordination with international partners remains an important area for the implementation of the recovery programme.

Close cooperation and coordination with international partners remains an important area for the implementation of the recovery programme. This was emphasised by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a Government meeting on 7 July.

“Today we have several new agreements in this area. We are adopting decisions that will allow us to attract an additional UAH 1.1 billion from the European Investment Bank for two projects that will contribute to the development and restoration of Ukrainian regions,” said Denys Shmyhal.

The first project is the modernisation of public transport, which includes the purchase of new trolleybuses and trams, infrastructure repairs and the development of digital systems. The second is the development of municipal infrastructure, including funds for the repair and modernisation of water and heat supply systems.
