U.S.-based startup Gable, which develops a data management platform, has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round. Ukrainian venture fund Roosh Ventures participated in the round, according to a press release issued by the firm.
Gable has built a platform that enables software developers and data analysts to create and manage data more effectively, the statement notes.
Sergey Tokarev, co-founder and partner at Roosh Ventures, highlighted that 76% of organizations struggle to understand their data. With the enterprise data management market projected to reach $200 billion by 2033, the demand for innovation in this space is greater than ever, he said.
Roosh Ventures has not disclosed the size of its investment in the startup. The round was led by Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Zetta Venture Partners, Databricks Ventures, B Capital, Capital One Ventures, In-Q-Tel (IQT), and angel investors including Barr Moses and Tristan Handy.
Gable will use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its team. Its client portfolio includes companies such as Glassdoor, Grab, and x15ventures — the venture arm of Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
