Ukrainian Quarter Partners founded a $100 million venture fund QPDigital

QPDigital - a venture fund from Quarter Partners will invest in startups in the following areas: IT logistics, digital health, game development, blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI)

According to representatives of the venture fund, QPDigital is going to invest in startups in the early stages: from the pre-seed round to round A. The average check for investments in startups will be around $500K.

In exchange for investments, the venture fund is going to receive from 10% to 25% stake, depending on the startup's need for funding and its assessment. To raise investment from a fund, a startup must describe a business model, test the product with potential consumers, and develop a roadmap for at least two years, including a plan to enter other markets.

When selecting startups, QPDigital will focus on experience, team quality, product value for potential customers and the size of an achievable market.

It is reported that the fund has already invested $ 2.6 million in six Ukrainian startups: Watched AI platform, Doc.UA online medical hub, WareTeka platform for selling and renting warehouses, ABM Cloud service for developing and integrating cloud solutions; Racoon.Recovery - a GDPR certified trauma rehabilitation solution; service for optimizing work with big data Datrix.

Among the investors in the QPDigital fund are such companies as Sigma Software, Startup Network, Lift99, Fedoriv Group and others.

The QPDigital venture fund is headed by Denis Valvachev. For seven years he worked as a Managing Director at Sberbank and was responsible for the creation and development of products for VIP clients with a total portfolio of over $ 40 billion. Prior to that, he worked for the Troika Dialog investment bank for five years.

Quarter Partners is an investment group created by Ukrainian entrepreneur Andrey Ivanov in 1992. The history of the company - large deals in raising equity capital, sale of businesses to strategic investors in metallurgy, energy, real estate, FMCG and agriculture for a total amount of more than $5 billion.
