Ukrainian IT company Ajax Systems, one of Europe’s largest producers of security and automation systems, has announced the opening of a new production facility in Hanoi, Vietnam. Over the next year, the company plans to create more than 1,000 new jobs, according to its press release dated November 11.
The new 8,300 m² manufacturing site will allow the company to significantly increase capacity, diversify supply chains, and enhance its presence in the global security systems market. The plant will produce the full range of Ajax products — including intrusion protection devices, video surveillance systems, fire safety solutions, and automation tools for residential and commercial buildings.
Oleksandr Konotopskiy, Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ajax Systems, emphasized that the launch of the plant marks a strategic step toward global scale and production diversification:
“We chose Vietnam because of its favorable industrial environment, availability of skilled labor, developed industrial parks, and a broad supplier network.”
Ajax Systems continues to expand its manufacturing footprint in Ukraine and Turkey, while new product development is carried out across three R&D centers located in Kyiv, Lviv, and Vinnytsia.
To strengthen its global presence, the company is forming local teams in various countries, improving customer support and driving international sales growth.
Today, Ajax Systems is the largest manufacturer of professional security systems in Europe, serving more than 4 million users worldwide. According to Forbes Ukraine, in 2023 the company’s revenue amounted to UAH 7.5–8.5 billion, with a portfolio of around 180 products providing comprehensive safety and automation for buildings.
The opening of the plant in Vietnam reinforces Ajax Systems’ strategic global position, reducing dependence on specific production sites and unlocking new opportunities for expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
