Ukrainian service for drivers eTOLLs EU raised €450 thousand with an estimate of €3 million

Imperia Holding, a distributor of FMCG products on the Ukrainian market, became the investor of the startup eTOLLs EU

The project of the owners of “Shtrafy UA”, a service for checking and paying fines for traffic violations - eTOLLs EU - attracted €450 thousand. Investments will help the team further develop the product, as well as attract customers.

The eTOLLs EU service allows you to obtain up-to-date information about toll roads on the driver’s route and avoid paying fines in EU countries. In it you can buy electronic vignettes for toll roads in eight EU countries at once: Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

The company said that after struggling with bureaucracy and the inconvenience of obtaining paper vignettes at various gas stations for traveling around Europe, a team of Ukrainian developers decided to digitize this process. Thus, in February 2023, a team led by Denis Dmitrov launched the eTOLLs EU service for everyone traveling in EU countries.

Currently, the eTOLLs EU project is already working with 80 thousand drivers throughout Europe. Over six months, more than 10 thousand transactions were carried out through the service.

eTOLLs EU has its offices in Ukraine, Germany and the Czech Republic

Today, 50% of sales in eTOLLs EU come from drivers from Ukraine. Next comes Germany - 12%, Poland - 4% and Denmark, Lithuania, Sweden, Czech Republic and Latvia - 3%.

“We have been following the project team for a long time and noted that since 2016, UA Fines have professionally created a convenient and effective service for 2.5 million drivers. Together with the team, we tested the hypotheses, and they showed unexpected results, according to which we decided to invest,” says Hayk Tovmasyan, co-owner and CEO of Imperia Holding.
