Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy mulls purchasing Russia’s Sberbank in Ukraine – media

The former head of the Intelligence Service of Ukraine and a shareholder of Inter TV Channel plans to close the deal next year, according to liga.net

Russian Sberbank carries talks with mr. Valeriy Khoroshkovskiy in order to sell its representative branch in Ukraine. Most probably, the former head of the Intelligence Service of Ukraine and a shareholder of Inter TV Channel will close the deal in Q1/2018, according to liga.net.

The National Bank of Ukraine and the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has not yet approved such information. The media also states that the bank head office will move from the downtown Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv to Pechersk neighborhood in the capital city.

To remind, the former head of the currency board of Ukraine mr. Sergey Tigipko bought another daughter of Sberbank in Ukraine, that is VS Bank operating mainly in Western Ukraine’s city of Lviv.
