A villa in Koncha-Zaspa, formerly owned by PJSC Prominvestbank, a subsidiary of Russian bank VEB.RF, was sold for UAH 311.1 million. This was reported by the Individuals’ Deposit Guarantee Fund.
“This is a very interesting, but at the same time difficult asset. A complex of buildings and structures is put up for sale in an elite suburb of Kyiv. Among the items included in the lot is a luxuriously furnished villa , guest houses, a spa center, restaurant and hotel buildings, boathouse for storing and repairing boats or yachts. At the same time, as we said before, in terms of external attractiveness , this matter has several “buts.” For example, legally, it is not an integral complex, and there is no chance, the maximum openness and transparency of the sales process ensures competition and price increases in each lot in the first auction,” said Alexander Kulchitsky, Director of the Department of Consolidated Sales of Assets of the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
The starting price of the villa was UAH 187.6 million, the winner of the auction offered UAH 311.1 million for it.
“Thus, the sales conversion (the ratio of the sales price to the starting one) reached 166%. At the moment, the winner has transferred the entire amount for the lot, preparations are underway to sign the sales agreement and purchase,” the Fund added.
It was learned that proceeds from the sale of the funds would be used to settle accounts with the bank’s creditors.
It will be recalled that in August 2022, the board of the National Bank decided to declare Bank Sich JSC insolvent due to the bank’s failure to fulfill its obligations to the NBU in the refinancing of loans due to insufficient funds.
