Foxtrot Founders to Acquire Two Solar Power Plants in Zhytomyr Region

A Cyprus-based firm linked to Valerii Makovetskyi and Hennadii Vykhodtsev has been cleared to acquire control of Bolokhivskyi Solar Parks 1 and 2

According to a statement from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), FTD Investments LTD (Limassol, Cyprus) has received approval to acquire shares in the charter capital of Bolokhivskyi Solar Park 1 LLC and Bolokhivskyi Solar Park 2 LLC. Both companies operate solar power plants located in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine.

Data from YouControl indicates that FTD Investments LTD owns 50.02% of the Ukrainian company F.T.D. LLC (authorized capital of UAH 574.73 million). The ultimate beneficiaries of the Cyprus entity are Ukrainian businessmen Valerii Makovetskyi and Hennadii Vykhodtsev, each holding a 50% stake.

Makovetskyi and Vykhodtsev are co-founders of Foxtrot, one of Ukraine’s largest electronics and home appliances retail chains.

The ultimate beneficiary of Bolokhivskyi Solar Park 1 LLC (authorized capital: UAH 200.29 million) and Bolokhivskyi Solar Park 2 LLC (UAH 231.49 million), both registered in Zhytomyr, is Kęstutis Martinkėnas, a citizen of Lithuania.
