The technical assistance for Ukraine from international partners amounted to USD 5.32bn within 415 projects in H1/2017. The largest financial donor was the USA providing funds for 104 projects worth USD 1.5bn. In 2017, Ukraine collaborates in technical aid with new partner from Poland and Norway. At this, the major donors were the EBRD for USD 671mln in 39 projects and the EU for USD 326.5mln in 139 programs. According to the ministry of development and trade of Ukraine, Germany financed 26 projects for USD 207mln, Japan ─ USD 21mln in 7 ventures, and Canada ─ USD 150mln in 20 projects. The use of proceeds were for national security accounting to 21% of the total technical aid, nuclear safety ─ 21%, administration and civil society ─ 13%.
