JKR Investment Group invested several million dollars in Ukrainian educational platform Study.ua.
The parties do not disclose the exact amount of the deal. The funding will be directed to the development of the company’s international business, as well as to support for further scaling in Ukraine.
Study.ua was founded by Oleksandr Bresler back in 1999. It is one of the largest educational agencies in Ukraine, with 26 offices in Kyiv and Odesa. It allows schoolchildren and students to prepare for admission to schools and universities, helps to select an educational institution and specialty, as well as get ready for studying abroad.
The company has already opened the Ukrainian-language school Neo Study Ukraine in Cyprus. There, more than 17,000 Ukrainian refugees are currently staying. In the future, Study.ua also plans to open representative offices in other countries, so that displaced Ukrainians can continue their studies according to the Ukrainian program, and then enter international universities.
Thanks to JKR’s investment, Study.ua has implemented several volunteer projects since the start of the full-scale war. The list includes a free online school for 25,000 Ukrainian children, as well as online English courses for children and adults.
