Kernel acquires vegetable oil export terminal in Pivdenny (Odessa region)

Kernel Group successfully completed the process of acquiring 100% of the shares of the edible oil transshipment terminal in the port of Pivdennyi

In December 2022, Kernel acquired edible oils transshipment terminal in the port of Pivdenny, the company's Q2 FY2023 report reads.

"Kernel has successfully completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in the edible oil transshipment terminal located in the port of Pivdenny (Odesa region, Black Sea)," mentioned in the message.

The transaction value was estimated at USD 19.8 mln.

The terminal has 49.4 thou. t of sunflower oil storage capacity.

Kernel practically refused from using the alternative channels of exporting grain by truck or railways.

The other two export terminals are located in the port of Chornomorsk: TransBulkTerminal and TransGrainTerminal.
