Large-Scale Meat Processing Plant in Ternopil Region Offered for Sale or Lease

According to InVenture, a 14,969.6 m² meat processing complex located within an industrial park in Ukraine’s Ternopil region is being offered for sale or lease

A 14,969.6 m² meat processing complex located within an industrial park in the Ternopil region is being offered for sale or lease. The facility includes a slaughterhouse, cold storage infrastructure, meat deboning and packaging areas, as well as production lines for sausages, meat snacks and canned products.

The complex enables a full pork processing cycle — from livestock reception and slaughter to production, packaging, storage and shipment of finished products. The slaughterhouse has a stated capacity of up to 60 pigs per hour, while the pre-slaughter facilities can accommodate 640 animals. The deboning area includes 18 workstations and has a processing capacity of up to 30 tonnes of meat per shift, with the ability to handle both pork and beef.

The refrigeration infrastructure includes chilling, blast-freezing and storage chambers. The main post-slaughter chilling chamber can accommodate up to 1,020 carcasses simultaneously, while two additional chambers are designed for 380 and 330 carcasses respectively. Frozen product storage chambers cover 421 m² and 620 m², while 603 m² is allocated for meat storage and dispatch.

The sausage production facility is equipped to manufacture cooked, semi-smoked, cooked-smoked and dry-cured sausages, as well as frankfurters, specialty meat products and snacks. Depending on the product mix, stated production capacities reach up to 15 tonnes of meat semi-finished products, 10 tonnes of frankfurters and cooked sausages, 5 tonnes of semi-smoked and cooked-smoked sausages, or 1–2.5 tonnes of delicacies and snacks per shift.

A separate canning facility is equipped with 11 autoclaves. The production program includes pâtés, canned meat products and ready-to-eat grain-and-meat products in metal and glass packaging. Available packaging options for finished products include vacuum packaging, modified atmosphere packaging and labelling.

The meat processing plant has access to the shared engineering infrastructure of the industrial park. This includes a pellet-fired steam boiler house with a capacity of 5 tonnes of steam per hour, artesian wells, a 4,000 m³ water reservoir, and wastewater treatment facilities with a capacity of 800 m³ per day, with expansion potential. The park’s energy infrastructure includes transformer substations, a solar power plant, a diesel generator and a cogeneration unit. The amount of capacity available to the specific production facility and the terms of use are agreed with the park’s management company.

The enterprise holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and HALAL certifications.

A separate 978.6 m² cattle slaughter and primary processing complex is also being offered for sale or lease. Its stated capacity is 5 head per hour. The facility is equipped with ROZFOOD machinery, three carcass chilling chambers, an offal storage chamber and a freezer.

The asking price for the assets has not been disclosed.
