The facility is located within an industrial park in Ternopil Region and has access to the park’s engineering infrastructure. The complex enables a full processing cycle, from the reception and slaughter of pigs to the production, packaging, storage and shipment of finished products.
Location and Composition of the Complex
Address: 1 Promyslova Street, Ostriv, Ternopil District, Ternopil Region, Ukraine.
The complex includes:
- slaughter and pre-slaughter facilities;
- refrigeration facilities with chilling, blast-freezing and storage chambers;
- meat deboning and packaging facility;
- canning facility;
- sausage and meat snack production facility;
- warehouse premises and dispatch areas;
- office and staff facilities, changing rooms, showers and a canteen.
An automated sanitary access system compliant with HACCP requirements is provided, along with equipment for washing production crates with a capacity of up to 60 crates per minute.
Slaughterhouse and Primary Processing
The slaughterhouse is designed for the primary slaughter of pigs and has a stated capacity of up to 60 head per hour. The pre-slaughter facility can accommodate 640 head.
The meat deboning and packaging facility is equipped with 18 workstations, enabling the processing of up to 30 tonnes of meat per shift. The facility is designed to handle both pork and beef.
Refrigeration Infrastructure
The complex is equipped with chilling, blast-freezing and storage chambers for raw materials and finished products.
Main capacities include:
- post-slaughter chilling chamber — 51 lines with simultaneous capacity of up to 1,020 head;
- two additional chilling chambers — with capacities of 380 and 330 head;
- two blast-freezing chambers — with 40 and 12 pallet positions;
- frozen product storage chambers — 421 m² and 620 m²;
- meat storage and dispatch chamber — 603 m²;
- a separate chilling chamber for dispatching half-carcasses.
The loading ramps are equipped with dock seals, helping maintain the required temperature during loading into refrigerated trucks.
Sausage Production and Meat Snacks
The equipment enables the production of cooked, semi-smoked, cooked-smoked and dry-cured sausages, as well as frankfurters, sausages, meat delicacies and snacks.
Stated production capacities depending on the product mix:
- preparation and packaging of semi-finished meat products — up to 15 tonnes per shift;
- frankfurters and cooked sausages in polyamide casings — up to 10 tonnes per shift;
- semi-smoked and cooked-smoked sausages — up to 5 tonnes per shift;
- meat delicacies and snacks — 1–2.5 tonnes per shift.
For dry-cured products, the facility includes a fermentation chamber with a loading capacity of 2 tonnes of raw material and a maturation and drying chamber capable of accommodating up to six such batches.
The packaging area provides vacuum packaging, modified atmosphere packaging and product labelling.
Canning Production
The canning facility includes production areas for pâtés and canned meat products. Available equipment includes a bowl cutter, meat grinder, mixer, meat cutting machine, gas-fired and steam kettles, fillers, can seamers and Twist-off equipment.
The facility is equipped with 11 autoclaves, enabling up to 38 processing cycles per shift.
Stated production output per shift:
- pâtés in 225 g containers — 20,000 units;
- canned products in 0.5-litre glass jars — 7,000 units;
- canned meat in 525 g metal cans — 15,000 units;
- grain-based ready meals in 525 g metal cans — 10,000 units.
Utilities and Industrial Park Infrastructure
The meat processing plant has access to the park’s shared infrastructure, including electricity, centralized water supply and wastewater disposal, industrial wastewater treatment, steam supply, hot water and heating.
The park’s infrastructure includes:
- a pellet-fired steam boiler house with a capacity of 5 tonnes of steam per hour;
- a water supply system from artesian wells and a 4,000 m³ reservoir;
- mechanical and chemical wastewater treatment facilities with a capacity of 800 m³/day, expandable to 1,600 m³/day, followed by biological treatment;
- transformer substations, a solar power plant, a diesel generator and a cogeneration unit.
The above specifications relate to the infrastructure of the entire industrial park. The capacities available to the meat processing plant and the terms of use are agreed with the park management company.

According to the owner, the enterprise holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and HALAL certifications.
Location within the industrial park provides access to ready-to-use production and engineering infrastructure, as well as the opportunity to qualify for tax and customs incentives and government support instruments, subject to obtaining industrial park participant status and complying with the relevant legal requirements.
