MinFin mulls IPO for state owned OschadBank in end-2021

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine decided to prepare the state run major OschadBank for the initial public offering

The state owned major OschadBank will run IPO until 2022, a development strategy for the state owned banks reads. The MinFin believes OschadBank to remain major corporate lender through intensifying corporate lending and attracting legal entities for its credit operations in the coming years.

The mortgage lending will also become a major activity of the bank, according to the master plan. The number of the branch banks will reduce from 3,300 to 1,900-2,100. At this, some remaining regional presence will be shortened or rebranded.

The major priority of development is IT line of business. In particular, it concerns development of centralized core support system, improvement of gateway operations and enhancing security.

The operational model of the bank provides for centralized operational support of all of the banking services.
