German Fresenius Medical Care revealed its plans to open 8 new dialysis centers in Ukraine. The total investments will amount to EUR 30mln into the construction of medical centers.
The Ukrainian representative office of the company, Fresenius Medical Care Ukraine, confirmed that its parent company in Germany approved the investment project for Ukraine. In the frames of the project, the dialysis centers will be built in various regions of the country specializing at the treatment of patients with chronic kidney disease.
As of present, Fresenius Medical Care Ukraine runs two specialized dialysis centers, one of which is located in Chernigov, and the other ─ in Cherkassy. However, they are not working at full capacity.
Fresenius Medical Care was founded in 1912 in Bad Homburg (Germany). Now it operates in 120 countries. Last year, the company conducted 46.5 million of dialysis sessions providing treatment for 308 thousand patients.
