New industrial park Zhytomyr-Skhid (Zhytomyr-East) with 24.7ha of land was registered in a city of Zhytomyr, a press service of the Ministry of economic development and trade has informed.
It is expected that the industrial park will add to the city's competitive advantage to boost economic progress and help to creating new job places. The park will specialise in production of construction materials, machinery, instrument engineering, wood processing, food and light industry productions, and IT industry. It will improve production base and market of the region, as a whole. There will be a logistics complex too and a service and repair center for air planes. As PM Volodymyr Groysman put it, the entire county has to become an industrial park in order to compete with similar parks abroad.
