Oschadbank Puts 6.3 Hectares of Riverside Land in Kyiv Up for Auction at UAH 323 Million

Oschadbank has listed three land plots totaling 6.3 hectares in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district with a starting price of UAH 323 million, seeking to divest a non-core asset acquired through debt recovery

Oschadbank has announced the sale of a major land asset in Kyiv — three plots with a total area of 6.3671 hectares located in the capital’s Dniprovskyi district. The listing was published on the Prozorro.Sale platform, as stated in the bank’s press release dated February 20. The land is offered as a single lot with a starting price of UAH 323.4 million, and the electronic auction is scheduled for March 25.

The plots are situated between Mykilsko-Slobidska Street and Brovarskyi Avenue. Their designated use is for the construction and maintenance of public development facilities, allowing for various development projects. At the same time, prior to signing the sale agreement, the prospective buyer must provide written confirmation that public interests will be taken into account in any future use of the land, including the interests of residents of the historic Mykilska Slobidka neighborhood.

This is not the bank’s first attempt to sell the asset. Two years ago, Oschadbank offered it for sale through the SETAM platform, but the transaction did not take place. The bank states that the land constitutes a non-core asset not used in banking operations and negatively affecting its financial performance. Accordingly, the bank is seeking its disposal.

Oschadbank obtained ownership of the plots in 2016 under a ruling by the Commercial Court of Kyiv as part of collateral recovery proceedings against a debtor. Previously, the land belonged to a developer that planned to continue construction of the “Soniachna Riviera” residential complex on the site. However, due to debt obligations, the project was not completed, and the plots were transferred to the bank.

The area remains socially sensitive, as local residents have long advocated for preserving public access to the Dnipro riverfront in this district. Even before the full-scale war, the Kyiv City Council considered purchasing the land to establish a park zone, but the initiative was not implemented.
