Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Andriy Ocheretny reported that the transport company "Lemtrans", which is part of Rinat Akhmetov's SCM group, has completed the construction of the second stage of the "dry" port - "Vinnytsia Container Terminal" (CCT). The group has invested over $15 million in this facility.
Andriy Ocheretny reported that the facility should become a key logistics link for transportation in the central part of Ukraine.
"Lemtrans" has invested in the development of the relevant infrastructure: railway tracks, a container yard, a warehouse with an area of over 4,000 square meters.
In general, the capacity of the CCT is about 20,000 TEU/year and is designed to transport such goods as niche grain crops and bulk cargo (in particular, oil).
