Orion.Group, a manufacturer of stainless steel equipment and tanks based in Kyiv Region, has invested UAH 35 million in the creation of a mobile production complex that enables the manufacture and installation of large-sized metal structures directly on the customer’s site.
This was reported by Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament’s Committee on Economic Development.
According to him, the new mobile complex is unique for the Ukrainian market and allows the company to perform a full cycle of works outside its own production site, including metal bending, welding and grinding of structures directly at the customer’s facility.
The main purpose of the complex is the production and installation of large-sized tanks and vessels with a diameter of more than 5 metres. Transporting such structures in assembled form is often associated with significant costs or is technically impossible. As a result, carrying out the works directly at the construction site can significantly reduce logistics costs and project implementation timelines.
The mobile production complex is currently being used during the construction of a bioethanol plant in Ternopil Region. After the completion of this project, the equipment is planned to be used for the construction of an agro-processing complex in one of the industrial parks in Khmelnytskyi Region.
Orion.Group specializes in the production of stainless steel tanks and technological equipment for enterprises in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and processing industries. The sectors served by the company include brewing, juice production, dairy, confectionery, bioethanol and chemical industries.
The company also has significant export experience. According to Orion.Group, its specialists have participated in the construction of plants and production lines in 65 countries worldwide.
Kysylevskyi noted that in 2011–2013 Orion.Group was engaged by the French consortium NOVARKA in the implementation of the project to build the New Safe Confinement over the destroyed fourth power unit of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
In addition, the company is involved in the restoration of industrial facilities damaged as a result of Russia’s armed aggression, carrying out the restoration of technological equipment, engineering systems and production lines.
In 2025, the company’s sales amounted to UAH 440 million, while the amount of taxes paid reached UAH 97 million. The enterprise employs 127 people.
The company’s products for the agricultural sector and food industry are included in the state support programme for Ukrainian mechanical engineering, which provides buyers with compensation of 25% of the cost of equipment.
According to YouControl, Orion.Group LLC was registered in 1995. The company’s charter capital is UAH 500,000. Its main owners are the company’s director Vasyl Karban, who owns 70% of the company, and his daughter Olha Karban, who holds a 30% stake.
Among the projects implemented by the company are equipment supplies for Ukrainian enterprises including Rud, Roshen, Nestlé, Molokiya, Mykulynetskyi Brovar, Lekhim-Kharkiv and Biolek Pharma, as well as for customers from the United States, France, Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, Egypt and other countries.
