In total, 50 teams presented projects for representatives of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine as part of the Drone Hackathon "Anti-Shahеd".
According to the results of the competition, three winners were chosen, who presented the most effective projects, each of them will receive $1 million for the implementation and scaling of technological developments that will help to fight against Iranian Shahed Drones. New technologies should help fight against Iranian "shaheds" so as not to waste the powerful resources of air defense forces.
"In order to constantly effectively counter new attacks by enemy UAVs, we need to implement new systems for detecting, identifying and destroying targets," said Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Koval.
Nowadays, it is extremely important for Ukraine to create alternative systems for countering the Iranian "Shaheds".
Previously, the first Drone Hackathon was held as part of the "Army of Drones". Of the 30 formed teams that presented technological solutions in the development of UAVs, six became winners. In half a year, they turned their ideas into a product that was demonstrated on the training ground.
Drone Hackathon "Anti-Shahеd" is implemented at the initiative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Digital and the Ministry of Infrastructure within the framework of the "Army of Drones" project.
