Zhdanovsk and Narkevich sugar plants started new refining season at Astarta that spend USD 13mln into improving energy efficiency and business operations at the plants. The money was channeled into reconstruction and change of the equipment.
At this, Astarta launched pulp dryer silo and a pelleting machine at Narkevich sugar plant. The plant will produce 25 000tons per year of pelletized dry pulp oriented for export markets including China.
The other six plants of the sugar major will be put into operation during this month.
