Swedish agricultural company Grain Alliance, with its assets in Ukraine, is going to invest about USD 2mln in the launching of a flour mill in Yagotin in Kyiv region in April ─ May 2018.
The project has already been actively implemented, according to the CEO of Grain Alliance Eugeniy Radovenyuk. The company imported the equipment for grinding wheat into flour.
Apart from this project, Grain Alliance develops two more projects related to the production of soybean, wheat, oats, rye and the production of liquid micro-fertilizers.
The volumes of investments in seed production will amount to USD 1-1.5 million, in flour production – USD 2mln, in fertilizers – USD 1 additionally within the next one or two years, according to Grain Alliance CEO .
The company also invested UAH 75mln (USD 3mln) into the launching of the grains elevator in Chernigov region. The capacity of the elevator will increase to 72 000 tons. The project will be completed in the next two to three years.
At this, the company increased storage capacity up to 100 000 tons at the Piryatin elevator (Poltava region). As of present, the Grain Alliance tills 53 000ha of agricultural land in Kyiv, Cherkassy, Poltava, and Chernigiv regions.
