Ukraine opened data revealing final beneficiaries of domestic companies and became the first country in the world to join the Global End-Owner Register of the initiative of Transparency International to promote transparency and prevent corruption.
The Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations of Ukraine revealing the final beneficiaries of all Ukrainian companies has become public owing to the joint work of the State Agency for e-Government and the Ministry of Justice, told PM Volodymyr Groysman.
Now, media and the public as well as other IT businesses can contribute creating new services and projects. The service can become a complementary tool in facilitating pre-talks in M&A deals too.
