The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has announced the sale of the entire property complex of the state-owned enterprise Budfarfor, one of the oldest sanitary ceramics manufacturers in Europe. The starting price is set at UAH 207.7 million.
The site is a large industrial asset comprising 38 buildings with a total area exceeding 80,000 sq. m, including production halls, warehouses, logistics facilities, a canteen, and other auxiliary structures.
Founded in 1909, Budfarfor specialized in the production of porcelain sanitaryware, such as toilets, flush tanks, washbasins, and sink pedestals. Since 2003, the facility was leased by a series of tenants: first by UkrBudMaterialy Corporation, followed by Sanitec Corporation, and later by Geberit.
Geberit ultimately terminated the lease after establishing its own logistics center in Slavuta, leaving the former manufacturing premises available for sale.
