Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) will invest USD 400mln into the wind farm project in Zaporizhia region of Ukraine, according to the government of Ukraine. The funds will be channeled for EuroCape Wind Farm І. The company has already received all the necessary approvals for loans related to its wind farm project. The first phase of the project has a projected capacity of 500 MWT. OPIC is also interested to participate in financing of the SME in Ukraine, told OPIC President Ray Washburne. Besides SME, the agency is targeting cooperation with domestic energy nuclear major Energoatom and railways Ukrzaliznytsia.
