A Relocated Tin Packaging Plant from Sumy Launched in Ternopil Region

A tin packaging plant for the food and chemical industries has officially started operations in the Zbarazh municipal community of Ternopil region — a facility relocated from Sumy region

Timing and Infrastructure

  • Construction of the main production buildings began about a year ago.
  • From the moment of signing the land lease agreement (obtained through an auction) to the commissioning of the plant with relocated equipment, approximately eight months passed.
  • The company also plans to construct additional facilities to expand production capacity in the future.

Staff and Employment

  • Currently, more than 100 people are employed at the facility.
  • Plans are in place to increase the workforce to 200–250 employees.
  • During the relocation, management initially considered leaving part of the equipment at the old plant in Sumy, but ultimately decided to transfer most of the machinery to Zbarazh due to operational challenges at the previous site.
