Agrogeneration plans to increase its land bank in Ukraine

As of present, the company tills 120 000ha of land plots over the country

Agrogeneration weighs options of increasing its land bank in Ukraine, told Sergiy Bulavin the vice CEO of Agrogeneration. The company plans to renovate its vehicle fleet this year too. To note, the French investor to Ukraine tills 120 000ha of land plots in Ukraine.

By renovating agricultural machinery fleet, the company will cut spending on repairs and reduce risks of failing the production plans due to the unexpected breakdowns.

The company conducted an independent audit of the company’s technologies in use last year and decided to introduce several improvements.

Agrogeneration bought agricultural machinery and other cars for USD 6.5mln during 2017.

 The agricultural major will expand lands for winter grains by 10% to 48 000ha this year, considering prices for the company’s crops of 2017-2018 marketing year, told the vice CEO.

As we reported, AgroGeneration purchased equipment worth UAH 300 000 for freezing berries in support of the cooperative in the town of Krasne in Ternopil region of Western Ukraine too.

 Agrogeneration has arable lands in Kharkiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Ternopil and Lviv regions of Ukraine. The French AgroGeneration was founded in 2007. Its business activities are planting grains and oilseeds and making exports from Ukraine. AgroGeneration mergered with the Ukrainian agrarian company Harmelia back in 2013.
