According to a press release from Raiffeisen Bank, it allocated €1 million to the distributor of fertilizers, agricultural machinery and agricultural products, Agrosem LLC, which plans to build a grain elevator with a capacity of 22 thousand tons at its own MOST Logistic Terminal on the border with Poland by the end of the year.
Funds are allocated for 5 years.
Thanks to the new terminal, Ukrainian farmers will be able to transship 400 thousand tons of grain per year towards the EU.
It is noted that 70% of construction work has already been completed.
The report also states that green technologies were used in the implementation of the project: energy-saving (LED) lighting, energy-efficient heating and ventilation systems were installed, which significantly reduced electricity consumption.
The projects include a system for collecting and treating wastewater, laying a system of canals for water collection collectors, and at the final stage it is planned to install a separator for purification.
The Agrosem company was founded in 2007 and is one of the five distributors of fertilizers and agricultural equipment in Ukraine. The company is also engaged in the cultivation and trading of agricultural crops and has its own railway terminal in the Lviv region.
The ultimate beneficiaries and founders of Agrosem LLC are four individuals: Oleg Zvyagintsev (35% share), Alexander Vainer (35%), Igor Zvyagintsev (15%) and Alexey Kulik (15%), who holds the position of general director of the company.
