A leading international early stage venture fund focused on growing businesses in Ukraine and CEE, has announced an USD 500K lead investment into Bookimed. Bookimed is a global service for medical solutions around the world. Since the idea of service in 2013, there are over 80K customers who have already used Bookimed services.
Today, Bookimed is the leader of such type services in the CIS, and sets a goal to take a leading position at the world level. There are central office and the main part of the team about 70 people in Kyiv. The company also includes 32 doctors (with higher medical education), that guarantees qualified expertise to clients.

Specificity of the work Bookimed is accompanying patients with serious diseases in the areas of oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics and pediatrics. This is a distinctive feature of the service, since most competitors are aiming at aesthetic surgery and dentistry, and do not provide full medical support to the client.
