Belgian investor to set up chips factory in Ukraine

Belgian owner of Granex-Cherkassy is also investing into two vegetable storehouses

Belgian investor revealed plans to set up production of chips factory with his Granex-Cherkassy company. The company has been successfully operating for 10 years already. Granex is also in the process of construction of two additional vegetables storehouses to make 25 000tons handling capacity for onions and potatoes. The other plans relate to starting a milk farm trading company. In total, the foreign investor has spent EUR 7mln in Ukraine. Granex-Cherkassy grows wheat, barley, corn, sunflower, soybean, rape, onion and potatoes over 2 500ha of land.
