According to the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Viktor Mykyta, work has started in Transcarpathia on the construction of a new and restoration of a large relocated enterprise from Kramatorsk, which specializes in the manufacture of turbines and equipment for power generation.
Victor Mikita said that after the start of a full-scale war, together with the company's management, the process of moving capacities was started in order to save this production. Uzhgorod district became a new permanent place of deployment, the community of which was able to provide the necessary conditions for relocation and investment.
Already in August, the enterprise became a taxpayer of the region, having allocated about UAH 12 million to the budget of the community.
It is noted that the new production workshop of the company will become part of the future industrial park. Most of the products will be exported. Several thousand specialists will work here, and this platform will become one of the budget-forming ones.
The head of the Regional State Administration added that the community, together with the company, has already begun to implement an initiative to build housing for several thousand relocated and new employees of the company.
