Cyprus Armpitch Holdings to buy blocking stake of domestic Agricom Group

The Anti-monopoly committee of Ukraine issued permission for Cyprus Armpitch Holdings to buy 25% of Agricom Group

Domestic Agricom Group plans to channel the funds received from the sell-off shares for construction of a new plant and increasing its land bank. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Upon competition of the deal in several weeks, the organizational or managerial structure of the firm will not be changed. The executive officer of Agricom Group Petr Melnik revealed that final beneficiary of the deal is a Ukrainian citizen belonging to pharmaceutical industry of Ukraine. Mr. Anton Shkribliak remains the major shareholder of 75% stake of Agricom. Agricom Group produces and distributes edible products of grain at its production facilities via inhouse trading companies. Agricom Group incorporates trading house Dobrodia Foods selling groceries under the trademark of Dobrodia.
