Ukrainian agricultural company Dairy Global Experts intends to raise $150 million in investment to build a modern cattle slaughtering and primary processing complex in Cherkasy Region. The total cost of the project is estimated at $160 million. The project has been included in the Ukraine Investment Guide 2026, presented at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 in Gdańsk, Poland.
The future complex will become one of the largest beef processing enterprises in Ukraine. Its design capacity will be up to 1,000 head of cattle per working shift, enabling the plant to produce around 350 tonnes of beef carcasses and up to 250 tonnes of finished products per day.
The project provides for the creation of a full-cycle enterprise for deep beef processing. The plant will produce chilled and frozen carcasses and cuts, minced meat, burgers, sausages and other high value-added products. In addition to meat products, the enterprise will process by-products, producing gelatin, collagen, feed additives and other ingredients for the food and feed industries.
The main export markets for the future production are expected to be the European Union, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), as well as China and Southeast Asian countries. To access international markets, the enterprise will comply with European Union food safety requirements, animal welfare standards and the HACCP food safety management system. In addition, the project provides for the possibility of obtaining international Halal and Kosher certificates, allowing the company to supply products to markets with relevant religious requirements.
According to the investment catalogue, the project is at the preparation stage. A preliminary feasibility study has already been developed, while preparation of the full feasibility study and design and cost documentation is underway. The estimated implementation period for the project is four years, while the projected payback period is seven years, with an expected internal rate of return (IRR) of 22%.
The raw material base for the enterprise will be provided by farms that are members of the Association of Milk Producers, which brings together more than 150 dairy farms across Ukraine. This will make it possible to establish stable cattle supplies and ensure full utilization of production capacity.
Dairy Global Experts is a Ukrainian international consulting and agricultural company founded in 2024. The company specializes in the development of dairy farming, the implementation of modern technologies in agricultural production, improving the efficiency of livestock enterprises, and exporting live cattle and beef. It implements projects jointly with international organizations and private investors.
According to the company, Dairy Global Experts currently provides technological support to 360 livestock farms, has implemented 78 construction and reconstruction projects for livestock complexes, and has completed 60 projects for the automation of production processes at dairy farms. Last year, the company’s revenue increased by 90.2% to $9.1 million, reflecting the active expansion of its operations in the Ukrainian and international markets.
