Danish fund Seier Capital financed two Ukrainian startups

Danish multimillionaire Lars Christensen's Foundation issued two grants to Ukrainian startups Bank of Memories and DjookyX

Seier Capital family office of the co-founder of the Danish investment bank Saxo Bank Lars Christensen issued two grants to Ukrainian startups Bank of Memories and DjookyX.

Seier Capital did not disclose the exact size of the grants, but it could range from 5,000 to $50,000.

Both agreements were finalized in January 2023, but they became known only now.

As emphasized in the fund, despite the hostilities, the search for new projects continues. Startups in the Concordium ecosystem will subsequently be able to receive an angel investment from Lars Christensen in the amount of €100,000.

Including fresh funding, Seier Capital has provided about ten grants to Ukrainian and international blockchain startups under a €10 million grant program. It assumes that the project will receive funds and integrate with the Concordium blockchain.

It is known about the startup Bank of Memories, in 2019 it was founded by Irina Savitskaya, Andrey Melanchik and Andrey Zubko. The startup already has $300,000 of investments on its balance sheet. The company is developing a platform that stores photos, videos and documents. This is an analogue of cloud storage from giants like Google or Amazon, but Bank of Memories stores them decentralized and through NFT.

DjookyX, in turn, was founded by Andrey Dakhovsky, Brian Maloof, Stefan Agbalyan and Gennady Kurochka. The startup offers a platform for musicians to sell song rights and raise funds to further their careers.
