Developers have already launched a fund raising campaign for manufacturing of Lanos electric cars on Odessa crowdfunding platform Na-Starte. The aim of the project is to provide Ukrainian citizens with domestic ecological vehicle at an affordable cost.
Founders of the project want to raise 200 thous UAH, which is less, than sums asked by the entertaining gadgets` developers on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. The price of the “Electrolanos” will be north of $15 000.
Initiator of the project – Vladimir Turko from Chervonograd city, and scentists from The Institute of Electrodynamics of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the basis of “Energoimpuls” governmental enterprise, became the developers of the e-vehicle prototype. “ZAZ Lanos Pickap” and “ZAZ Lanos Sedan” electrical cars will come to the serial production. It is estimated that on the one accumulator charge these cars will be able to drive for 250 km. These projects are going to be presented to the market not earlier than April of 2016, after the mechanical run tests. At the end of 2016, the electrical car will be already available on the market.
For the Dream motors team this is not the first experience in the field of e-vehicle creation on the basis of domestic automobiles. Developers remind that with the cooperation of specialist from AvtoVAZ and AvtoZAZ and with the help of electrical equipment, developed in The Institute of Electrodynamics of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the following cars were constructed - VAZ-1801, VAZ-2801, VAZ-2802, VAZ-2702, ZAZ-1109, ZAZ-11091.
Initiators of the project are going to spend on the purchase of components for the first test vehicle: shed, electric motor, accumulators, chargers and electronics. If there will be any money left, they will be used for other production expanses.
Having raised the funds on the Na-Starte, developers are willing to attract investors for implementation of serial production. Namely, they are going to offer the affiliate program, which allows private investor`s monetizing from investments in project.
