According to information on the website of the Antimonopoly Committee, the regulator allowed Epicenter to purchase the property of the Ukrgazstroy construction company.
The message says: "Epicentr K LLC has been authorized to acquire assets in the form of a single property complex belonging to the private joint-stock company Ukrgazstroy."
According to the data of the last annual financial report for 2022, the value of the assets of PJSC "Ukrgazstroy" amounted to UAH 679.2 million.
PJSC "Ukrgazstroy" is one of the leading enterprises of the capital construction industry in the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine, according to the company's website.
Founded in 1946 as the "Ukrtruboprovodstroy" Trust, the company carried out construction works both in Ukraine and in Russia, Belarus, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa, developed gas and oil fields, built underground gas storage facilities, pump and compressor stations.
The "Epicenter" group of companies includes the "Epicenter" and "New Line" retail chains, the epicentrk.ua online store, the "Epicenter-Agro" agricultural holding, Epicenter Ceramic Corporation ceramic tile production plants, Osmoloda CBM woodworking plant, and logistics facilities.
