Epicenter launches a new production line at the ceramic tile plant with an investment of $140 million

It will allow increasing production from 9 million to 12 million square meters of tiles per year

Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development Dmitry Kisilevsky said that in the coming weeks the ceramic tile plant, part of the Epicenter group of companies, will launch a fourth production line. The line has already been installed, all that remains is to carry out debugging work. The company is located in Kalinovka (Kyiv region).

Dmitry Kisilevsky noted that investments in the creation of the plant amount to $140 million. Thanks to the plant, 480 jobs were created. At the same time, more than 200 production employees have been mobilized, the people’s deputy added.

According to the people's deputy, it is also planned to build two Epicenter factories in Kalinovka, for which the local community must allocate a plot of land.

Dmitry Kisilevsky clarified: “Here it’s up to the local community, which must allocate land to create 2,420 jobs, as well as the Ministry of Economy, which must develop a regulatory framework for a law on supporting projects with large investments.”
