DIY Epicenter chain intends to develop the first 10 hubs of charging stations in Ukraine

As Olha Yushchenko, director of the "Autogroup and tools" department of "Epicentra", reported, the cost of setting up one hub can vary significantly depending on the equipment and the amount of work that needs to be done for its installation. So, according to her, in the first ten hubs preparing for opening, the price ranges from UAH 1.3 million to UAH 3.6 million.

The average payback period of the first 10 hubs, according to network specialists, will be about 6.5 years.

Epicenter plans to equip charging hubs for electric cars throughout the retail network, as well as in some other enterprises of the group of companies, such as IQ office and logistics centers.

Olga Yushchenko noted that in the future the company is considering the installation of "E1" hubs in locations outside the "Epicentr" network

The director of the retailer's profile group clarified that in the coming months the retailer will open a total of 10 new hubs in the parking lots of the Epicenter shopping center in Zhytomyr, Odessa, Uman, Ternopil, Poltava and Chernivtsi.

As for further investments, their volume will be determined by the company's management later.
