In 2023, a contract was signed for the technical support and management of ibis Budget in Podil, the capital. It is expected to have 126 rooms, some of which will have a hostel format.
Novotel Lviv (9 Mickiewicz Square) will have 128 rooms, Novotel Living Kyiv (Gogolivska St.) will have 49 apartments.
Earlier, at the end of December 2022, the Black Sea Bank for Trade and Development (ChDBTR) allocated a EUR8 million loan for the construction of a 4-star Novotel hotel in Lviv to Center for Real Estate Development LLC, the beneficiaries of which are the majority owner of the OKKO group of companies, Vitaly Antonov and its CEO Vasyl Danylyak. The total budget of the project is declared to be EUR 14 million.
Davydenko noted the recovery of demand. "Market activity as of August and September 2024 is the highest since the beginning of the full-scale war, both in Kyiv and Lviv," he said.
