Ukrainian grain elevator equipment manufacturer Lubnymash is investing $2 million in expanding its production capacity by building a new 6,000 sq. m production complex in the city of Lubny, Poltava Region. After the facility is commissioned, the company will almost double its silo output, according to Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.
The new complex will specialize in the production of silos with a capacity of up to 50,000 cubic meters. Currently, the company produces grain storage facilities with a total annual capacity of up to 600,000 tonnes of grain. After the launch of the new workshop, this figure will exceed 1 million tonnes of grain per year, significantly expanding the company’s production capabilities.
According to Kysylevskyi, the company received additional investment resources for the project through its participation in the state program compensating 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery and equipment under the “Made in Ukraine” policy. The program is aimed at supporting domestic agricultural machinery manufacturers and stimulating production modernization. The 2026 state budget allocates UAH 1.8 billion for its financing.
In 2025, Lubnymash produced grain storage facilities, silos and grain bunkers worth more than UAH 1 billion. The company’s products are supplied to European Union markets, while African countries are considered one of the most promising directions for further exports. The enterprise employs 420 people.
According to YouControl, the company’s financial performance deteriorated in 2025: revenue declined from UAH 1.32 billion to UAH 842 million, while net profit decreased from UAH 60.5 million to UAH 38.8 million. Despite this, the company continues to invest in production expansion, expecting to increase output and strengthen its position in both domestic and international markets.
