McDonald’s invested UAH 1.8 billion in the construction and modernization of its restaurants across Ukraine in 2024, according to the company’s press office. Over the same period, the company contributed more than UAH 2.6 billion in taxes to the state budget.
In 2025, McDonald’s plans to open nine new restaurants and continue upgrading existing locations. Given the security environment, the company will focus expansion efforts on central and western regions of the country.
McDonald’s is also considering the reintroduction of breakfast menus at all locations during 2025. Additionally, the company plans to launch Mobile Order and Pay (MOP), allowing customers to place and pay for their orders directly via smartphones.
As of now, McDonald’s operates 109 restaurants in 36 cities and towns across Ukraine. An additional 15 restaurants remain temporarily closed due to safety concerns.
